This year is very special for me: I was born in the Year of the Horse and am delighted to be experiencing another Chinese Year of the Fire Horse after 60 years. In the Chinese zodiac, the horse stands for movement, freedom, independence and vitality. In combination with the element of fire, these qualities are amplified: the Fire Horse symbolises energy, courage, determination and the desire for authentic expression. At the same time, it calls on us to use this power consciously, to act clearly and to take responsibility for our own actions.
